"Just days after we moved in to the dream home we spent 3 years building, one of the dogs had an "accident" on our limestone floor. I picked up what I could, then doused the floor with vinegar (a "natural" cleaning agent that I like to use). Bad idea -- the vinegar (an acid) took the entire honed finish off every floor tile it splashed onto! YIKES!!! Enter Dan and Valley Stone Care. He calmed us down and assured us that he could restore the limestone surface. He took a few hours to work his magic and our floor was like new again -- phew! If it weren't for him, the dogs and I would be living in the garage (yes, my husband was more than a little upset). Can't say how thankful (and relieved) I am that Valley Stone Care was able to make our new floor like new again. "I am very satisfied with the quality of the work performed by Valley Stone Care. I had travertine floors installed in about 40% of my home. After they were installed they needed to be sealed and polished to bring out the natural luster of the travertine. I called Valley Stone Care. Dan, the owner, arrived at our scheduled appointment on time and prepared an estimate. He assured me that the travertine would polish up very nicely and that he would take great care to make sure the polishing agent did not get onto the baseboards or walls. I hired Valley Stone Care. I am very pleased with the job they did. The travertine looks lovely and as promised, there was no mess on the baseboards or walls for me to clean up. Included in the service, Dan filled with epoxy the small divots that naturally occur in travertine.
